Every fault we price, and roughly how long each takes
Screens, batteries, charging ports, speakers and rear cameras are same-day jobs. Back glass and front cameras usually need 24 to 48 hours because of how the phone comes apart. Water damage and no-power faults are different: those start with a diagnostic, because until it's opened nobody honestly knows whether it's a £60 fix or a write-off — which is why no-fix-no-fee matters most on exactly those two. Foldable inner screens are the longest at three to five days, as the part has to come in. Every job's expected turnaround is shown against the fault when you get your quote.
Why you pay at the end, not the start
Most repair shops take payment when you hand the phone over. We don't, and it changes the incentives: you see a fixed price before anything happens, we do the work, and you settle up once the phone is back in your hands and you've checked it. If we find a second fault mid-repair we ring you before touching it — the price you agreed is the price you pay, or we stop. And if we can't fix it at all, you pay nothing, including for the diagnostic time on the awkward ones.
