What happens between handing it over and getting it back
You lock in a fixed price online first, so nothing is open-ended. We collect, and the phone goes to a workshop where the technicians have been doing this for over ten years — not to a kitchen table, and not posted off to a third party you've never heard of. It's diagnosed against the fault you booked, repaired, then tested before it's allowed back out. You follow all of that live on a job reference. It comes back to your door and you pay then. If anything unexpected turns up in the middle, the phone stops and you get a call.
