Terms & Conditions
The terms that govern purchases through optimisemarketplace.com.
Last updated: 7 July 2026
1. Who we are
Optimise Marketplace is operated by Optimise Marketplace Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16803603), registered office 142 Thornes Lane, Wakefield, England, WF2 7RE. Contact: support@optimisemarketplace.com / WhatsApp 07990 134610. These terms apply to purchases made through optimisemarketplace.com.
2. Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed only when we dispatch your order and send dispatch confirmation. We may decline or cancel an order before dispatch — for example where a product is unavailable, a pricing error has occurred, or we suspect fraud — in which case anything you've paid is refunded in full, promptly.
3. Pricing
All prices include VAT where applicable. We work hard to keep prices accurate, but if a genuine pricing error is discovered before dispatch we'll contact you with the option of paying the correct price or a full refund. We are never obliged to supply at an obviously incorrect price.
4. Availability
Every device we sell is individually sourced and quality-checked to order — it's how we guarantee the standard of what arrives. In the rare case we can't secure your exact device to our standard, we'll contact you within 24 hours with a like-for-like (or better) alternative or an immediate full refund. Your choice.
5. Product descriptions and grading
Refurbished devices are sold by grade as defined in our Device Grading Guide, which forms part of these terms. Cosmetic condition consistent with the stated grade is not a defect.
6. Delivery, returns, and warranty
Delivery is governed by our Delivery policy; returns, refunds, and our 24-month refurbished warranty are governed by our Returns & Warranty policy. Both form part of these terms.
7. Trade-ins and repairs
Device trade-ins are governed by our Trade-In Terms; repair services by our Repair Service Terms. Both form part of these terms.
8. Your responsibilities
- Provide accurate delivery and contact details — we're not responsible for parcels sent to an address given incorrectly.
- Back up and remove your data before returning, trading in, or sending any device for repair. We are not responsible for loss of data or for any content left on a device.
- Remove activation locks (e.g. Find My iPhone / Google account) from any device you send to us.
9. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded — and nothing reduces your statutory rights as a consumer. Beyond that, we are not liable for losses that were not foreseeable when the contract was made, or for business losses — our products and services are supplied for private use.
10. Complaints and law
If something's gone wrong, contact us first — we resolve almost everything quickly and directly. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts (or your local courts if you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland).
