How it works

• Tell us your device model, storage, and honest condition using our Device Grading Guide, and we'll give you a quote.
• We email you a free, fully insured Royal Mail postage label — your device is covered in transit when you use it. Prefer doorstep collection? Available around Dewsbury and Batley for a £10 fee deducted from your payout, or drop off free with our partner Phone Clinic in Barnsley.
• A technician verifies the device against the grade you selected, usually within 2 working days of arrival.
• Grade confirmed? You're paid the quoted amount within 3 working days, by bank transfer.

If the grade doesn't match

If the device arrives in a different condition to the grade you selected, we'll send you a revised quote with photos explaining why. You can accept it, or decline — and if you decline, we return your device free of charge. Your original quote is valid for 14 days from the day it's issued.

Faulty devices

Devices graded Faulty are always subject to an individual re-quote depending on the severity of the damage — for example water/liquid damage, crushed or bent frames, board faults, devices previously worked on, non-OEM parts, or no Face ID. Any engraving is classed as Faulty. In some cases we may not be able to buy the device at all — but if so, we cover the cost of sending it back to you.

Before you send your device

• Back up anything you want to keep — data cannot be recovered once the device is processed.
• Sign out and remove all activation locks (Find My iPhone / Google account). We cannot buy a locked device, and it will delay or void your quote.
• Remove your SIM and any memory card.
• Every device we buy is securely wiped to factory settings on receipt.

Ownership and stolen-device checks

By trading in, you confirm the device is yours to sell, isn't subject to outstanding finance, and isn't lost or stolen. We check every device's IMEI against industry databases; devices that fail these checks cannot be purchased and may, where the law requires, be reported or withheld.
