My phone is completely dead — what's the most likely cause?+
In order of likelihood: a battery that's failed or too flat to boot, a faulty charging port, a crashed OS (fixed by force-restart), or — least often — a board-level fault. The first two are inexpensive fixed-price repairs; see the table on this page.
How much does it cost to diagnose a dead phone?+
Diagnosis is built into our no-fix-no-fee promise: if we can't fix your phone, you don't pay for the repair. The no-power repair prices in the table cover the common causes; a board-level fault gets a separate quote before any work is done.
Can you recover data from a phone that won't turn on?+
Often, yes. If the fault is battery, port or power management, the phone can usually be revived and backed up in full. True board-level data recovery is quoted case by case — tell us data is the priority and we'll work to that.
Is a dead phone worth fixing or should I replace it?+
If diagnosis shows a battery or port fault, fixing is far cheaper than replacing. If it's a board fault on an older device, we'll say so honestly — and you can put its trade-in value (yes, faulty phones have one) toward a certified refurbished replacement.
