Should you buy a Galaxy A71 in 2026?
The Galaxy A71 is a budget pick. It is approaching or past the end of its maker's update window, which makes it best suited as a first phone, a spare, or a work handset rather than a long-term main phone. The price reflects that honestly.

Buying a pre-owned Galaxy A71: what to know
Every Galaxy A71 we sell is put through a full diagnostic — screen, cameras, speakers, charging, biometrics and battery — then graded honestly as Like New or Good so the price reflects exactly what you receive. There are no surprises on arrival and no vague “fully working” claims hiding a tired battery.
Battery health is stated on each listing above (what the percentage means). If you'd rather keep your current Galaxy A71 running, a battery or screen repair is often the smarter spend — get a fixed-price repair quote in seconds. Upgrading? Our trade-in portal turns your old device into instant credit.

Common questions
How much is a refurbished Galaxy A71?+
A tested & certified Galaxy A71 starts from £105 at Optimise Marketplace. The exact price depends on storage (128GB), colour and condition grade. Every one includes a 12-month warranty, free insured UK delivery and 30-day returns.
How old is the Galaxy A71?+
The Galaxy A71 went on sale in the UK in January 2020, making it 6 and a half years old.
Is a refurbished Galaxy A71 worth buying?+
Yes — though "refurbished" is not quite the right word for ours. Nothing has been rebuilt or modified: these are pre-owned handsets with 100% original parts, tested and graded. A Galaxy A71 bought this way performs identically to new at a significant saving. Each device is inspected and function-tested by us, graded honestly and comes with a 12-month warranty (covering hardware faults in normal use) plus 30-day returns.
Is the Galaxy A71 unlocked?+
Our Galaxy A71 stock is sold unlocked unless clearly stated otherwise, so it works with any UK network and with eSIM plans.
What battery health does the Galaxy A71 have?+
Battery health is listed on every individual Galaxy A71 listing, so you know before you buy. Every pre-owned phone we sell has at least 85% battery health, Like New and Good alike.
