The iPhone 15 Pro is the better long-term buy: USB-C, a lighter titanium body, the A17 Pro chip and Apple Intelligence support, which the 14 Pro does not get.
The iPhone 14 Pro is the value buy and it is not a compromise — the same 48MP main camera, the same 120Hz always-on screen, the same Dynamic Island. If you don't care about USB-C or on-device AI, it does everything the 15 Pro does for meaningfully less.

Does the iPhone 14 Pro get Apple Intelligence?+
No. Apple Intelligence requires the A17 Pro chip or newer, so the iPhone 15 Pro supports it and the 14 Pro does not. The 14 Pro still receives iOS updates otherwise.
Is titanium actually better than stainless steel?+
