Bigger storage adds £20–£100 depending on the model. A phone in 'good' condition — light scratches, everything working — is typically worth about three-quarters of the like-new figure. These values move weekly with the market, so treat the table as a guide and the quote page as the truth.
What actually changes the price
Condition is the big one, and it's mostly about the screen and the back glass. A phone with no marks on the display is like-new; light scratches you can only see at an angle are 'good'; a cracked screen or back drops it to 'poor' or 'faulty'. Battery health below 80% will usually cost you a grade. Storage adds value, colour doesn't. A phone locked to a network is worth less than an unlocked one, and a phone still tied to an Apple ID (Activation Lock on) can't be bought at all until you remove it.

How to get the top figure
Sign out of iCloud and turn off Find My before you send it, so the inspection isn't held up. Clean it properly — a phone that's been in a case for two years often grades better than its owner expects. Include the storage size in the quote correctly; it's the most common mistake and it's checked on arrival.
